Trevor Muzzy of Columbia, MO, Mario Bernard of Pittsburgh, PA, and Dallas Schwake of Tupelo, MS – all class of 2016 – had one thing on their minds during what could have been a week long break from their duties at the Air Force Academy, and that was to do whatever they could during their free time to serve others.
“We could be lazy, or come out and do something useful...,” Muzzy said. “We are all about service.”
Muzzy, Bernard, and Schwake are no strangers to philanthropy; each of them have a history of community service, but it was apparent that their hearts and minds were completely invested in making sure they were a part of the relief efforts for those who were affected by the fire. So much so, that Muzzy took the initiative to ask the Red Cross for volunteer contact information – making it easier for them to return on their own, instead of waiting or relying on others to reach out for their assistance.
